How to solve problems with locale setting in Linux

Problems

or

    LC_ALL = (unset),
    LC_CTYPE = "UTF-8",
    LANG = "en_US.UTF-8"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

Solution:

echo "export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8" >> /root/.bash_profile
echo "export LANG=en_US.UTF-8" >> /root/.bash_profile
echo "LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8" >> /etc/sysconfig/i18n
